Very few people in Lwala have post secondary training or university degrees. However our goal is to staff our programs with people from the local area. In order to develop these future leaders, we are strengthening human resources at the local level.
To this end, we offer two post secondary loans per year to particularly gifted high school graduates who lack the means to pursue their higher education dreams. These students are expected to repay their loans either through service to the community or through monthly payments once employed.
